Why is that I don't football much interesting anymore unless it's my favorite team or an important game?

I used to like football more when I was a kid now that i'm almost in my mid 20s I don't seem to find football much interesting unless if it's an important game or my favorite team. I liked the Steelers because of bettis, stewart, their defense.....I also liked elway, davis, favre........now it's just not the same....
