Is the media dead in america?

I was curious I see stories on fox and they show tapes or what the person wrote or said. now excluding the the hosts say but what is shown. Why dont other channels show the same thing? like with anita dunn and i believe ron bloom have both said they like mao other people close to obama who like chavez saying they like his form of democracy or they like fidel and che. So why dont the other channels show these clips or what the people wrote and either criticize them like fox or explain how it was mis understood. Isnt that what the media is suppose to do is report both sides? they sure didnt mind attacking bush on everything rightfully or wrongfully. Isnt that part of the reason why they are failing because they attack bush left and right for all the stuff he did or didnt do but dont criticize obama hardly?
