Gory unicorn movie title?

Ok, when I was around 8 years old, I remember watching this horrible movie at my aunt's house. It was about the last unicorn on earth and everyone was trying to catch it (I remember it was near the ocean because the horse drowns itself in the end I think and there were mountains). It is NOT "The Last Unicorn" because this movie was wayyy more disturbing and gory and the animation was different. Anyone know what I'm talking about because I've been googling for 30 minutes and can't find anything. Help!
