What are good group activities and discussion topics for a GSA?

I am in the GSA at my school, although it's been around for a while. You could talk about current events in the gay community. For example, the GSA at my school discussed the teen suicides when they were still hot in the news, so you could do that with other news stories about youth across the country. Or, we talk about language issues - how often people use words that can be perceived as offensive. The F word, the B word, "That's so gay" and other things such as that, and count the number of times we hear these words used in a typical week. You could also have general discussions about the trials and tribulations about gay teenagers, and could maybe focus on how you can better your school so that your ual clmates feel more comfortable being themselves. That's a huge issue at my school - I, as a gay male, don't feel so comfortable being myself, because so many people use the word "ғaggoт" and say "That's so gay" without realizing how much that hurts me and the other gay students.
