My granddaughter 13Th birthday & my mother's funeral.?

She's old enough to make her own decision at 13. My dad died 6 days before my birthday several years ago and I went to his funeral. She will have MANY other birthdays but this will be her last chance to say goodbye to her great-grandmother. With hindsight I'm very glad I went to dads funeral
